Analiza strategicznej narracji ASEAN-u

Stowarzyszenie Narodów Azji Południowo- -Wschodniej (ASEAN) jest organizacją polityczno - gospodarczą, stawiającą sobie za cel konsekwentne pogłębianie współpracy pomiędzy swymi członkami. Co więcej, nieustannie wzmacnia swoją rolę jako czołowej organizacji międzynarodowej w regionie Azji Południowo- -Wschodniej, stając się istotnym partnerem dla wielu aktorów. Podstawowym celem artykułu jest zbadanie, w jaki sposób ASEAN definiuje sam siebie, przy wykorzystaniu strategicznych narracji. Na samym początku wyjaśniono, na czym polega analiza strategicznych narracji. Następnie przy wykorzystaniu owej analizy, sprawdzono, w jaki sposób ASEAN formułuje swą strategiczną narrację. Zrozumienie sposobu kształtowania i budowania narracji jest bowiem niezbędne, aby zrozumieć, jakie są również strategiczne cele organizacji. Artykuł kończy podsumowanie.

THE ANALYSIS OF ASEAN STRATEGIC NARRATIVES

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is an alliance promoting economic and political cooperation by boosting dialogue among its ten members. What is more, ASEAN constantly empower its role as a leading international organization in the Southeast Asia region. It has also became an important partner for all major actors in the globe. The article aims to present how the ASEAN seek to define itself through its use of strategic narratives. I begin by defining what the strategic narratives analysis is. Next, by using this analysis, I will examine how ASEAN is building its own narrative. Understanding this strategic narrative is essential in explaining the ASEAN policy too. Finally, I will summarize the article with some conclusions regarding the need for further research.
