Founded in 1991, the Visegrad Group (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) has been proved a stable cooperation structure in Central Europe. After the achievement of its key objectives, which were membership in NATO and the EU, V4 continues its working. The main subject of the article are the prospects for the further V4 cooperation and the factors and circumstances that affect its efficiency. The author also briefly mentioned the objectives of cooperation within the Visegrad Group, its specific features and its results. The summary contains the main conclusions.
