Politics of pastiche as an interpretant of activity of Polish parliamentary select committee for bank sector affairs

IN THE ARTICLE the author accepts Jadwiga Staniszkis’s assumption that nowadays there exists a phenomenon of politics of pastiche. Those politicians who focus on conflict as a means leading to attracting people’s attention and who do not understand that the political conflict may lead to co-operation create institutions which do not fulfill their functions, on the contrary – they often simulate hard work. The logic of pastiche cause that each conflict is presented by media as a kind of show. The analysed pronouncements excerpted from shorthand reports of sessions of parliamentary select committee for bank sector affairs show that Polish MP’s participate in this model of policy making.
