Polish People’s Party (Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe – PSL) constitutes one of the oldest political formations in Poland. A political party always manifested national character and referred to independence, democratic and Chistian traditions during its 100-year old existence. Polish People’s Party campaign was perceived as positive and very emotional. An organization referred to symbols as well as values based on history, that is, work, Christian values, church, family values. The goal was to gain voters holding more centrist views. Polish People’s Party aimed at the image of an organization willing to discuss with all political subjects and wanting to organize political and social life in Poland. Disapproval for conflicts and willingness to end them was very strongly demonstrated (“Understanding serves the people”).
