International relations are social phenomena that reflect and aim to guide variety of interactions in an international arena. In this article author argues that sociology of international relations were very important part of IR theory and sociological approach are specific point of view in the study of IR. Sociological analysis costs new light on international sphere and enriches our understanding of the social factors involved in the creation and implementation of international order. The main goal of the article was to recognize a role of sociology theory in the IR research. In this article, author emphasis that study of IR and theorizing in IR should be concentrated on the social context of meanings and perception because this factors mostly generate international interactions between actors taking a part in international activity. That’s why IR theory should focus on following category: identity, culture, perception, and use the sociological theory of symbolic interactionism to study process of creating foreign affairs. IR theory has suggested that actors engage in complexy organized, mutually influencing behavior and also in relative stable and identifiable configurations. In sociological view on IR interactions between actors depends on individual perception of itself and international order. Author argues that understanding process of building a individual view of international order need sociological approach. Sociology of international relations should use theory of symbolic interactionism to explain international actors behavior. The use of symbolic interactionism in Blumer and Mead’s traditions aims and explaining that international order are constructed by the individual actors with basic on they identity interpret action of another actors.
