Social world of theater (based on the Artists TV series)
Abstract: The article, which refers to the social world of dramatic theater in Poland, consists of two parts. In the first part I discuss the theory of the social world and I refer to the basic analytical categories defining the direction of research. In the second part I analyze the artistic discourse on the social world of theater (on the basis of the TV series Artists directed by Monika Strzępka).

Theory of complementarity
Abstract: We formulated linking issues psychological, genetic and logical a new concept of cognitive predispositions, called by us the theory of complementarity, on the basis of which can write much more perfect than the currently used algorithm of online employment agency. Besides cognitive psychologists, career counselors and geneticists our text will be interesting for young people who must choose vocational school, high school or higher education.

Few Comments on Metaphysics in Gustaw Herling-Grudziński’s Tower and Educational Needs
Abstract: The paper considers Hannah Arendt’s ideas presented in The Human Condition (2010). It discusses three possible understandings of ‘vita active’ determined by different contexts: as ‘a job’, ‘a creation’ and ‘an action’. The discussed example of construction of these meanings in metaphysical story Tower (1958) by Gustaw Herling-Grudziński. Presented considerations have lead the Author to its interpretation with reference to one’s educational needs.

Early diagnosis and prevention of emotional instability of students on psychologist`s work
Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of an early diagnosis among students with emotional imbalance, revealing aggression, anxiety, presence of the stress in students, the difficulties of adapting to a new team. Exploring the matter of the theory, we have seen how diverse approaches of scientists to this issue, which gives us a reason to conduct its research and consideration of the matter, taking into account national peculiarities of students of Baku Slavic University. Experimental work was carried out on the basis of the Faculty of Education of the University that mentioned above. As the purpose of the study was determined to the characteristics of the emotional sphere of students, corrective and preventive work diagnostics and organization within the center providing social and psychological assistance to young people, which functions at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Baku Slavic University. After diagnosing the presence of problems relating to the adaptation of freshmen to the new social environment, our assistance to the program has been planned for the students, whose performance on the application of the technique go beyond the norm. The basis of psycho program was one of the series of training sessions in conjunction with the mini lectures and seminars, which allowed the students to explain the difficulties of the first year of study in high school and, after individual counseling students create a specific program depending on the presence of difficulties at this age stage. Comparing the results before and after the correction process has allowed us to confirm the effectiveness of the program, which has been decided to comprehensively existing problems among students. Therefore, the students were well prepared for the examinations, and indicators on different scales were ranked in the allowed rate.
Modny ostatnio termin „konwergencja” pochodzi od łacińskiego słowa convergens – zbieżny1, oznacza zbieżność, tworzenie się zbieżności, w etnografi i i antropologii podobieństwo wytworów kulturowych powstałych niezależnie od siebie u różnych ludów2. Pojemność terminu „konwergencja” powoduje, że obecny jest on w biologii, geologii, antropologii, matematyce, psychologii oraz socjologii3. W politologii termin „konwergencja” oznacza zbliżanie się do siebie, przy zachowaniu podstawowych cech charakterystycznych, określonych historycznie, rozbieżnych kierunków, takich jak: liberalizm, ewolucyjny konserwatyzm i demokratyczny socjalizm. Zjawisko to przewidywał już 1859 r. John Stuart Mill4. O konwergencji mówi się także w aspekcie ekonomicznym jako o zbliżaniu się państw pod względem produktywności dochodu na głowę mieszkańca5. Konwergencja rozpoznawana jest także w prawie jako zjawisko polegające na przejmowaniu rozwiązań prawa anglosaskiego na kontynencie oraz wątków prawa kontynentalnego w Anglii. W ten sposób kształtować się ma prawo europejskie, stanowiące syntezę obu tradycji prawnych, ale z przewagą Common Law.
Freedom of Press in Political Regimes: the Case of Thailand
Abstract: Article updates the research on the development of media in political regimes. Freedom of the media, one of the basic civil liberties, is understood to belong to everyone, without restrictions on the right to freedom of expression (ie. The freedom of speech), the right to appoint media operators and the right to be informed. Applicable in Thailand limit media freedom in part are located in the directory of commonly accepted in democratic regimes. Thus, for example, restrict freedom of speech similar arrangements for the good of the legal, ie. Dobrom common law, such as public safety, legal order and security of the state and the individual’s personal property occurring, their interpretation and strict enforcement go far beyond the practice of democratic regimes. There is present therein in Thailand closure and suspension of the operation of media entities without a court order, to influence the structure of the business media, widespread censorship, criminalization of defamation, and especially imposing draconian penalties for committing this crime. The aim of this article is to determine the scope of the effect of restricting media freedom in the Thai media market.

The Effectiveness of Journalist’s Training in Iceland and Norway
Abstract: Iceland and Norway are characterized by the use of very effective methods of education. Practical teaching, use of e-learning applications, learning through play, is the basis of education at university level generally in the Nordic countries. Thanks to the applied methods of teaching, graduates without problems will find employment in accordance with the specialization. Analyzing the effectiveness of teaching should consider why different methods work better in specific situations. The article describes practical methods of teaching implemented in Iceland and Norway on the basis of author observation and conducting lectures in University of Iceland and Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences in Oslo.

Abstract: This publication discusses the problem of the origin of informationbased society and the impact of its most important processes on human life. The author in her work shows how commercialization, and above all “McDonaldization” and consumerism changed the picture of modern human individual, and of society as a whole. Her discussion starts by individual epochs in human history, ending at the stage of the invention of the computer, and then the popularization of the Internet. In the first passage the publication introduces the reader to the world of information- based society by providing its origins and development. Then, it directs attention toward the processes inherent to a society based on information, focusing mainly on consumerism and commercialization and their impact on contemporary media. The author connects the concept of consumerism with the culture of digital narcissism and indicates its’ impact on today’s youth.

The stereotype of the media in the Polish language and conceptualization of their prototype in the processes of reception and education
Abstract: The text of the article is devoted to reflection on the questions: whether there is a stereotype of the media, or as yet mass-media form in their awareness of their prototype, and whether education can support this process. Conclusions drawn from studies carried out in a group of 160 students from two universities: students of journalism and communication at the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin and students of management and production engineering and agricultural engineering and forestry from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.
