Knowledge management is not only technologically. Selected scenarios of media education classes
The theme of not only technological knowledge management using selected scenarios in media education is important for the knowledge society and ethics. The labor market expects effects and efficacy, which is not the same as universal values such as friendship or brotherhood. Finding the meaning of man in a world dominated by knowledge and mass media is an important issue. Thus the purpose of this article is to present personal competence in knowledge management. The aim of the research is to enrich pedagogy with knowledge about (non) technological competencies in selected scenarios of media education. The method of document analysis was used. It has been argued that media education in selected scenarios emphasizes the role of man in knowledge management. As a result, four categories of objectives were addressed, both for personal and technological competence. The conclusion is that not only man is governed by knowledge but also manages this knowledge.

Social media and media education. New job markets
Presenting the definition of media education with all its aspects seems to be a breakneck task. Media education is mostly analyzed in relation to a specific phenomenon or process. Digital media, in particular social media, become an important space for media education. Communication platforms of this type are constantly changing and improving. They create a new kind of instability of knowledge and skills. The aim of this work is to present the perspective of social media as new labor markets in the space of the digital information and skills economy.
The analysis in the theoretical layer was based on the work and perspective of Jan van Dijk – social aspects of new media. The secondary analysis of source data and the secondary analysis of in-depth interviews supplemented with author’s interviews were used in this work.

The article aims to familiarize with the development of the Internet as a means of communication and promotion tool as well as public relations in contemporary global society and the society of electronic media. The share of electronic channels in interpersonal communication is constantly growing, becoming a dominant way of media communication in the world. This does not mean that it will be the only way of communication, but it should be noted that it will be the dominant one. The article attempts to approximate the issue of the development of new media in terms of statistics and quantity, but also because of the demographics and geographical location of users. It shows the structures and possibilities as well as potential ways of media development in the future. The statistics come from research centers mainly from the United States of America. The analysis covers general issues of social media, mainly social media portals and their scale of impact on the global society. It should be noted that the attitude of enterprises to society has changed. Thanks to better data, more detailed advertising parameters and a growing user base, social media is one of the ways to invest. Adaptation of social media by older people is constantly growing – which means that more companies can benefit from ads targeted directly to this group. When choosing a social network to advertise, make sure that the adoption of social media by the target age group is high.

From the history of computation to knowledge representation
There are various tools that make computational problems easier to solve. Through thousands of years mankind built and refined them in order to grasp intricate operations that can help unravel the complexity of the world. History of those tools is connected with the ability to visualize, categorize and also to assign hierarchy to things and to define relations between them. Some of them have philosophical roots, other could be employed only when suitable and sufficient mathematical apparatus became available. This paper shows a path, beginning with simple tools that aided simple mathematical operations through the ones that allowed visualization of relations between things, and finally, to the combination of these two kinds, which resulted gave us the beginning of modern ontologies in the context of informatics.

The importance of motor activity in mathematics education. Embodied cognition and development of mental representation of numbers in children
This paper presents the review of literature concerning the importance of relationship between motor and cognitive activity in mathematical skills development. Cognitive and motor processing seem not to be related as well as the use of motor activity in the processing of numbers is far from an intuitive approach in mathematical education. A great number of studies show, however, that cognitive processes are embodied and therefore the involvement of movement in tasks requiring the participation of cognitive processes gives extremely positive results. This applies to both mathematics education practice in the case of children with normal development and those with a cognitive deficit in this area, called developmental dyscalculia. It is not surprising, therefore, the growing popularity of modern technologies that involve movement, which are used for cognitive math skills training, such as motion sensors, dance mats or educational games with elements of movement and dance. The beneficial influence of motor activity in mathematical abilities development is related to the spatial organization of representations of numbers arranged on the so-called Mental Number Line. It has been confirmed that such motor training develops and strengthens this spatial-numerical association, which is a predictor of skills of children in arithmetic.
