Journal

Mssion:

The Peculiarity of Man is a journal whose aim is to show through the prism of man-made problems of its specificity in the aspect of individuality, sociality and species.

This task, therefore, requires a very broad approach to the issues discussed, so the pages of this magazine must be open to representatives of the most diverse fields of knowledge - from the broadly understood humanities to the exact sciences. The ambition of its originators is that in an international team, in a multi- and interdisciplinary language, communication between different cultures and fields of knowledge would occur. In our opinion, it is only in this way that we can comprehend and describe the scope of human activity and the essence of humanity. Simple analysis leads to the alienation of increasingly narrow areas, introducing more information noise and losing what is most important - knowledge about ourselves. To prevent this, we put emphasis on the ability to make syntheses that are to answer two typically human questions - "why?" and "for what?".

The publication is free of charge.
