Artykuł prezentuje wyniki analizy telewizyjnego orędzia prezydenta Francji Emmanuela Macrona z dnia 16 marca 2020 roku. Stanowi ono przyczynek do wskazania na znaczenie we współczesnym dyskursie politycznym odwoływania się do logiki strachu i poczucia zagrożenia. Analiza treści pozwoliła wskazać najważniejsze cechy retoryki strachu, jaka zdominowała prezydenckie przemówienie pełne sensacyjnych metafor i wojennych odniesień, będących doskonałym przykładem moralnej paniki w czasie kryzysu, w którym zwiększa się zapotrzebowanie na informację. Analizą dyskursu objęto leksykalne i składniowe środki językowe, gdzie niezwykle częste metafory wojenne dają możliwość manipulacji opinią społeczną i wdrażania koncepcji uodpowiedzialnienia obywateli.

In every society, there is socially constructed dominant, highly valued, and eagerly gratified model of sexuality of men and women which could be named gender grata. Gender non grata means all that stays in opposition to the main stream, widely legitimized sexual behaviour. The extremum of gender non grata seems to change. It depends on complex social dynamics rooted in religion, science, various groups of interests, and engagement of moral crusaders. Some time ago, this extremum was represented by masturbation; currently, pathological epicenter is occupied by pedophilia. This phenomenon can be placed and analyzed within various frames of reference. The one used in this article is labeled as moral panic.

Migration Panic and Migrants Dignity
The aim of so-called moral panics is to effectively influence the assessment of phenomena and the attitudes of individual people. The tools for its induction are media-manipulated information and its uncritical recipients. In recent decades, these efforts have concerned the increasingly intense phenomenon of global human migration. Although it refers to only 3–4% of the total population, it provokes exceptionally strong controversies, creating specific forms of so-called migration panic. Instead of a reliable discussion about migrants and refugees, their rights and obligations, and their inherent and inalienable human dignity, manipulated public opinion perpetuates hardly humane thinking and action. It insults strangers in a dangerously aggressive way against existing natural and positive law, ethical and religious requirements.

Difficulties and challenges during the relief of war refugees from Ukraine as fodder for Kremlin disinformation
The text addresses difficult themes in the narratives of participants in the Polish aid efforts during the first months of the full-scale war in Ukraine. It aims to identify areas that Kremlin propaganda exploits to spread disinformation and stir up resentment against refugees, which can lead– by creating moral panic– to social and political destabilization in Poland. The paper is based on empirical material collected through indepth interviews with helpers during the spring and summer of 2022.
