This paper aims to explore internationalization awareness and commitment of higher education in Indonesia. Since there are no publications on internationalization awareness and commitment for Indonesian higher education, this paper fills this gap. This qualitative case study involved 15 lecturers from an Indonesian university. This study used semi-structured interviews and data from the interviews were analyzed thematically. The research findings reveal that the internationalization of curriculum indicates awareness of internationalization by inviting experts and adapting curricula from developed countries. In addition, the commitment of internationalization was marked by the increasing quantity of international publications and collaboration with domestic and global agencies. The internationalization process faces both cultural and practical constraints. The finding suggests that there should be more elements of internationalization to indicate the preparation and the implementation of internationalization.

The study focuses on some aspects of plurilingual and intercultural competences of future teachers-their theoretical outcomes and data from comparison of two research studies. After presenting the main concepts and situation in Slovakia, it describes and compares aims, samples, methodology and data from 2 studies (2002, 2015) on the perception of the need to use various foreign languages and cultures, especially in the performance of the teaching profession. Their comparison gives evidence about areas in which it has grown.

Inherited, acquired and individually shaped culture in selected creative biographies
The problem of identity forming is presented in the article on selected examples of creative biographies. The author points out how important in this process is the inherited culture, shaped in the family home and in the local environment. He also indicates how difficult the process of integration with the culture is when this culture is acquired in state educational institutions, conducting an internal dialogue to create an individual culture of being, achieving goals and values in positive freedom and civil disobedience. In the presented creative biographies, the author draws attention to the awareness of experiences and experiences in each of the cultures, to the ability and skill to resolve conflicts, negotiate, reconcile values, patterns, norms in the constant process of identity forming. The author draws attention to the development of a reflective identity project, conscious and responsible choices of content from each culture, the existential theme of the joy of living, being in harmony with oneself, which is particularly important in intercultural education.

The main purpose of this study is to explore the predictive ability of mindful attention awareness towards cognitive flexibility among pre-service teachers. A descriptive survey approach was employed. The purposive sample method is employed to collect data from 100 pre-service teachers pursuing a Bachelor of Education from the public university of Kurukshetra. The Cognitive Flexibility Inventory by Denis and Vander (2010) and the Mindful Attention Awareness scale by Brown and Ryan were used for data collection. Statistical analysis indicated (i) mindful attention awareness is significantly and positively correlated with cognitive flexibility (ii) mindful attention awareness explains 30.6% of the cognitive flexibility among pre-service teachers. Education implications are further discussed.
