The constitutional right to social security
The subject of this article is the issue of the constitutional right of citizens to social security when reaching the retirement age. The author points out the constitutional principles which guarantee the protection of pension benefits and gives examples of statements of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Tribunal with respect to the issue of social security schemes in their judgments. This article also discusses the scope of freedom which the Constitution grants to a legislator and the boundaries within which a legislator may act as far as the selection of solutions for the implementation of this right is concerned.

The right to social security benefits in the light of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland
This article covers considerations related to the right to social security benefits under the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. Its purpose is to clarify the term social security and the indication of legal institutions that are part of social security, social security, social supply and social assistance. It is reasonable to assume that the content of the right to social security benefits is to guarantee every citizen benefits in the event of incapacity for work due to sickness, disability, reaching the retirement age, being out of work not of their own will and not having other means of subsistence. The essence of the right to social security benefits is to protect the citizen in the case of certain insurance risks resulting in the total or partial loss of self-subsistence. This article also analyses the scope and forms of implementation of the constitutional right to social security.

Institutional protection of rights to health benefits for adult and elderly people in terminal states of illnesses
Ageing of the Polish society entails the importance of securing caring and medicinal services of the growing population of seniors and people in terminal states of illnesses. The aim of this article is to assess legal framework concerning institutional protection of rights of people in terminal states of illnesses, in the context of the scale of terminal states of illnesses and the need for services aimed at terminally ill and their families.

The right to social assistance benefits in the light of the Polish Constitution
This article discusses the right to social assistance benefits in the light of the Polish Constitution. Its purpose is to present the principles and legal norms directly related to this law. On the basis of the material contained therein, it can reasonably be assumed that among the values and norms specified in the Constitution and relating to the sphere of human social rights, human dignity deserves special attention, as well as the principle of subsidiarity, which are related to the issues of social assistance.

Changes in Social and Political Order and Their Impact on the Democracy
This article analyzes the rise and diffusion of the radical changes in the fields of international relations and social security that pose a challenge for capitalist representative democracy. This concept reflects the simple idea that the era characterized by strong global economic influences, worldwide aging population, longevity and longer life expectancy, changing labor markets, migration, technological and communications developments, mobility and transportation gives no reason to believe in representative democracy as the future of the world. This article suggests a new point of view on the discussion of the factors that mostly influence social order, social security, labor markets and democracy.
