O "African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies"
African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies (AJEPSS) is a multi-disciplinary scholarly peer reviewed scientific journal in the scope of African studies. It was created as a result of the initiative and collaboration among African scientists from Polish universities and Adam Marszałek Publishing, a leader in the publishing market in Poland. The initiative has been supported by GRADO Publishing and Professor Czesław Mojsiewicz International Cooperation Fund, who became co-publishers of AJEPSS.
The journal’s goal is to serve as an independent forum for scientific thoughts in the fields of culture and religion, economics and development studies, history and archeology, peace, conflicts and security, political science and international relations, social and economic geography, as well as sociology, as they relate to the human condition in Africa.
African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies will be published annually starting from 2022, and would be gradually indexed in Polish and international databases. The Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Nagmeldin Karamalla-Gaiballa, whereas the journal’s Editorial Board consists of prominent specialists in the field of the African studies, including academics from Ethiopia, France, Madagascar, New Zealand, Nigeria, Poland, Senegal, Sudan, United States, and some other countries.
African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies addresses all interested in African issues in interdisciplinary perspective, including the following groups: universities, students, researchers and scientific institutions specialized in African issues, civil society organizations, United Nations organizations, regional and global research centers concerned with issues of economic and social development in poor and developing countries, especially in the African continent.
The AJEPSS’s content includes texts in the following format: research papers/articles, reports and reviews. Scholars and experts of various disciplines are welcomed to submit their research papers in African studies, full length research articles, short communication and review articles and commentaries to the editor in the English language for publication in the journal.

We fully publish our journal in Open Access under the license CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies agrees to share all published materials on authors’ personal websites, websites of authors’ affiliated institutions, their repositories and on platforms such as Academia.edu and ResearchGate without any restrictions. The AJEPSS grants permission to use the published materials for authors’ teaching needs, for non-commercial supply of academic colleagues and to use it in author’s monographs after publication in the journal. Other forms of the use of published materials require permission from the publisher.
When posting or using those materials, please give the full citation, provide a link to the AJEPSS’s website and add an appropriate DOI number.
The editors of African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies adopted the principles of publishing ethics in accordance with the guidelines of COPE – the Committee for Publishing Ethics. The ethical standards of the journal and anti-plagiarism policy of the editors are explained on the website, while the authors are obliged in a statement to confirm that their work meets the accepted standards of publication ethics.
