Review Process
African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies publishes only papers that received positive reviews. All articles and research reports submitted to AJEPSS are double-blind reviewed by two independent peer reviewers. Positive reviews are the necessary condition to publish a paper – if assessments are profoundly different, the editors may ask another expert to deliver a final evaluation.
The AJEPSS accept only papers in British English, which meet formal standards and essential requirements. If the article fulfils these criteria, the editors send its anonymous copy to two independent reviewers. The review typically takes less than two months, however in some cases it may be extended. Two positive reviews are the necessary condition to publish a paper in the journal. Authors receive anonymous copies of reports, and they have up to a month to present the final version of the paper. Rejected papers can be resubmitted to the AJEPSS (after essential edition) not earlier than six months after the rejection.
Instructions for Reviewers
African Journal of Economics, Politics and Social Studies uses the standardised procedure of paper’s review. The assessment includes two stages: the initial review and the detailed review (see: the review form).
